Allyson Michael Felix is a Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School.
